Start in the NGO
Therefore, considering that we are teachers and students of the ICT school, we want to use our skills to improve the health of people with disabilities.
We are a group of people, we call ourselves self-proclaimed people.
Lignum Vitae - Tree of Life
"Lignum scientiae boni et mali - The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil."
We create our own website (under the supervision of a programming specialist), we deal with animations, social media, etc.
In consultation with specialists in the field of rehabilitation, we want to start creating innovative equipment and applications supporting rehabilitation.
We already have two ideas to implement.
- VR application supporting rehabilitation;
- 3D printing of accessories / elements of rehabilitation equipment.
These are our two main goals.
Then we want to run IT courses and trainings for children and teenagers, language courses for foreigners, numerous and various workshops and integration activities.
Our volunteers will constantly develop their skills and competences, thanks to which we will have more and more to offer our future pupils and participants.
We want to cooperate with educational institutions, such as schools, community centers, care and education centers, social centers, animal shelters.
For example, the works and all products of workshop participants (of course with their consent) will be auctioned, where everyone will be able to support our organization or a specific current campaign conducted by LV-DZ by purchasing.
We also want to organize money and food fundraisers for the elderly and those in difficult life situations.
We still have far-reaching plans ... we will need much more time, money and people willing to cooperate to implement them.
One of them is the creation of "DreamLand" recreational and integration places, where volunteers and animators in costumes of fairy-tale characters will entertain children (the aim is to integrate healthy and disabled children), eg the Smurfs Village. But these are much further endeavors.
We wholeheartedly encourage you to support our initiative.
