Establishing family and business in the local community

I am hoping to establish and raise a healthy family in my corner of the world, and with a new small baby and a new small business, my hands and my finances have been pretty strapped for spare time or cash.  I'm hoping to raise some funds to help me join the local chamber of commerce to better establish myself in the community and better establish my future in the area.  I want to contribute to the local economy, and would greatly appreciate the help, to better enable me to do my part in developing a strong and successful community.
