Campaign Story
Esinam Amedzo is a 14 year old girl. She hails from Adaklu in the Volta Region of Ghana and suffers from a condition known as benign facial tumours which distort her face .
My non profit organization (VARAS) in
partnership with a UK based charity is finding ways to restore her face
and bring a smile to her face again.
Hopefully the surgery will be done in the last quarter of 2017 but before that Esinam needs to healthy and fit for the operations. Unfortunately Esinam comes from a poor family and having a balance diet and three square meal is a problem. We do ask that you support her by donating to provide her with three square balanced meal before, during and after surgery.
She said she would like to go back to school after surgery so the funds will be used to cater for her schooling.
Last year we received a team from the BBC to document her ordeal so the world can see her and come to her aid. During the visit, Esinam sang beautifully and when asked what she would like to be in the future, she said she would like to be Evangelist and a musician. Unfortunately due to her face, locals are not ready to join her sing.
