Escaleras Road Fundraiser

As anyone who lives in our area full time is aware, it has been an unprecedented year for rain. In addition, we have 3x the number of construction projects compared to other years and more people who live in our area as well. The result has been a very challenging year for maintaining our roads.

If you have not already made your regular road contributions, please do so.

If you have already made your regular yearly contribution and you would like to help out by making an extra contribution, the money will be put to very good use to try to get the roads back to a better condition as soon as we have enough sun to do the additional work.

What we will use these contributions for:

• Some additional one-time work in several areas that need special attention to allow water to drain properly off the roads.
• We have found a very good mix of materials that seems to be holding up extremely well after 3 months of use. We would like to use that material to do some resurfacing on all the roads. The amount of work we do will be directly related to the extra contributions we receive.

At this time, your contributions WILL NOT go to the 4 major slide areas on San Martin Road. That is primarily because we are working with the Municipality to find the best solution to those issues. Once we know how much we can count on the municipality and how much work is involved, we may put out a special plea for those repairs.
