Eradicating Poverty In Sri Lanka

Poverty is a known factor in some lives known by everyone around the globe. Poverty is an element which derives from the medium of exchange that makes people acquire resources to maintain wealth and living. People living hard-lives searching ways to acquire resources have become difficult according to there ability. Education also have become a key factor everywhere in the world for success in your own-lives. For those who will succeed will succeed to a way of income and for those who doesn't succeed will not succeed in their ability.

Billions of people around the world live in extreme poverty. Nearly 10 percent of the world's population. That's almost 1 billion people living below the World Bank poverty line of $1.90 per day.

And almost half the world (nearly 4 billion people) lives with a household income below $2.50 a day.

To understand poverty in Sri Lanka requires that we take into account both the successes and the challenges that remain.

Other factors as "Natural Disasters" or "Nature Strikes" have also become factors that led people acquire poverty. In 2004, the Indian Ocean tsunami killed 230,000 people. All of them were in poor countries — low- and middle-income countries such as: Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and India.

GDP or economic growth is another factor relates to poverty and prosperity passes them by.

Eradicating poverty is a mere success but can be treated to some extent. Awareness is a way to eradicate and helping in need to build better lives can help eradicate the concern.
