Entrepreneur Dream

My fiance and I (getting married in April 2015) have always wanted to start our own business in real estate investing. Over the years life, family, and "punching the timeclock" have made it difficult to get a proper start as well as some of the valuable training and education we need to build and maintain a successful business. We both work regular jobs, my fiance in hospitality and myself in healthcare. We are hardworking, educated people with entrepreneur minds who want to do better for ourselves and our children. We have 2 adult daughters, a 13 year old son and a 7 year old son with Autism, ADHD,OCD and limited speech. Anyone with a child that has special needs understands the difficulty that can come with it. Our schedules are built around him, we work different shifts so that one of us is always with him. It has been difficult to advance in our individual careers due to limited flexibility with our schedules. Employers usually don't understand the challenges and responsibilities we have at home. This is one of the many reasons that we made the decision to start moving toward our dream. We started with research, and recently attended a workshop which ignited the fire in our hearts.   The next day we started planning our business and are constantly trying to learn more. We want this, we are ready for this, and we are not putting off our dreams any longer. You see, we want a better life for our family.  We would have the ability to create a schedule that accomodates our families needs, and spend more time together as a family, to work hard and be able to provide for our family. Financial freedom is of course our goal, but to us, financial freedom means the ability to send our 13 year old to college in four short years, (he is already showing entrepreneurial potential), and the ability to provide more/better services to help our 7 year old with Autism. It also means not living paycheck to paycheck and struggling to make ends meet. We also believe that through real estate investing, we can give back to the community by improving housing conditions and availability. We can also help families out of dismal home situations and bring them some relief and peace with a fresh start. We are driven by our love for our family, and the need to do more, be more, and live up to what our hearts and minds know we can do. We want to build our business strong from the beginning and strive for success and promise to always put people first. There is some training that we would love to attend that will help us start up our business the right way and more focused training in real estate investing.
