Campaign Story
This is Jonalta, she is 2yrs, 11mnths en 9days old.
On a normal day Jonalta is as kind and happy as shown on this photo. She will already be very ill and only then she will complain. She is a real little fighter!
Unfortunately, Jonalta was early in her life diagnosed with enlarged tonsils. In her young life, she was already very ill 7 times due to this. One minute she'll be absolutely fine and the next moment will she have fever between 39 and 40 degrees, vomiting and be pale.
Due to this, she has been like this the past 4 days (since 09/09/2018): Her fever is 39-40 degrees, she vomits, she can’t keep anything down. If her mother gives her a suppository and gives her suryp for fever, her fever breaks for 3 hours at most, and then it returns.
Due to expensive doctors her parents could only today 13/09/2018 afford to get her to a doctor. Dr. D. Lombard. According to him is her condition as follows:
She has middle-ear infection, chronic tosillitis and severe grade bronchilites. The tonsillitis causes her fever. Her tonsils gives off toxins which cause her eyes to get infection (see picture below) and her stomach glands are swollen due to the tonsils and therefore she has permanent stomach aches. The doctor said her tonsils were enlarged in such stage that it secrete several toxins that make the body sick. It has turned into Adenovirus. He says everything is caused by the tonsils – that's why she got brochilites (infection in her lungs). He says that it should be removed as soon as possible, because the fever can turn into fever convulsions that can cause brain damage.
Dr D Lombard they refered her to an ear-and-throat specialist at Wilgers, namely Dr. Harry Engelbrecht. It is so essential that Dr D Lombard himself spoke with Dr H Engelbrecht to get a urgent appointment for Jonalta.
Her tonsils must be removed as soon as possible because her body is rejecting her tonsils and she gets sicker and sicker each time.
Unfortunately, due to expensive hospitilisation costs, her mom and dad do not have the finances to take it out.
Fortunately, we have gathered enough money for the specialist appointment.
Dr Pienaar’s fee is R3 500 for his fees to remove her tonsils and for the assistance and the anesthesia. Then St. Vincent’s hospitalisation fee is R9 000. They will have to remove her tonsils as soon as she is better before she gets sick again. This means R12500...
This is the cheapest way to have this operation done.
Therefor I enquire anyone that would concider to make a donation to enhance this little girl’s lifestyle.
Any supporting evidence may be requested. I also attach doctors ' letters to confirm this.
All and any donations would greatly be appreciated.
