Campaign Story
In August 2019 I will be travelling to Bali, Indonesia to volunteer my time and teach English in a local school. This opportunity is wildly different from anything I’ve ever done before and I am so grateful to be able to volunteer abroad.
As Bali is fast becoming a tourist destintion, the need to speak English is increasing. The Akasa Foundation was set up with the goal of providing less fortunate Balinese children with a chance to thrive in their education, which is why the work of volunteers is so important. Having a native English speaker greatly helps the children with pronunciation and is simply invaluable.
I am working in order to pay for the programme however any donation is greatly appreciated and I thank you for taking your time to read this.
