English-speaking Theatre Festival PRO.ACT Fest

The festival will be held for the fourth year in a row and aims to identify and unite English-speaking theatre communities in Ukraine and abroad. The Festival aims to stress the importance of knowing English and the fun way of using it by organizing a three-day festival full of theatre and other cultural events held in English. By creating a festival that involves foreign collaborators, the Festival adheres to further integration of Ukraine into Europe.

For three years, our international English-speaking festival PRO.ACT Fest has gathered on more than one occasion a wide variety of participants. Among them were both small independent theaters and theater groups (CREATIVE LAB OBRAZ (Kiev), Merry Land (Chernihiv), EIDOS (Kyiv), Charodii (Odesa) and state theaters (Suziria, Molodyi, DAKh), and of course participants from different countries. For example, this year one of the entry was Heather Massie from New York, USA with a great solo performance HEDY! The Life & Inventions of Hedy Lamarr
