Invitation to Psychotherapy

I do NOT (necessarily - but of course welcome!) need high donations or a lot of money.

What I want and need are MANY PEOPLE interested in this project (proven by their donations).

PROJECT: Fundamental Concepts in Psychotherapy

An Invitation into Psychotherapeutical Thought

Translation of a book on Psychotherpy in German language into English language so that it can be published for people in the US and English speaking countries.

In this book, the fundamental concepts, ideas and thoughts of the 20 main psychotherapeutic approaches are presented. Many (German) reviews show, that leading people of these approaches find the core ideas of these "Schools" very well and adequate discussed. The four parts present approches in psychodynamic therapy, behavior therapy, humanistic therapy and systemic-/familiy therapy.

Very many readers - students, patiens, interested persons, therapists, counselors - found this book very helpful, worth reading, and inviting. In German countries this book is a good seller (> 60.000 copies). In 2014 the last (7th) revised edition (5 brand new chapers !) have been published.

Moreover: a translation into Spanish language has been been published (by Ammorortu Editores, Buenos Aries, SA), and got at least 4 editions.

In spite of this success, US publishers don´t believe that this book will be so inspiring for people in USA (and elsewhere in the English speaking countries) so that they are ready to invest money for the translation. Regrettably, not being a native speaker, my English isn´t pretty enough to do the job myself.

These facts and situation brought me to the idea to try this way and to use this platform in order

a) to prove that many people in USA, too, are interested in such a comprehensive (but short) introduction into the fundamental concepts of the different main approaches to psychotherpy.

b) to find new ways of getting support for such a project (and to overcome the "fears" of US publishers).
