US$2.00raised of $20,000.00 goal goal
Children without guardians, wives without husbands, lives destroyed and families separated.
In recent years many have left their homes as a result of their war torn countries, seeking refuge in foreign lands. While these refugees are processed, and their names added to the long list of resettlement applications at the UN, they face daily challenges in finding work, communicating, and surviving. It is a challenging period for these refugees, and we want to help and lend a hand.
As an English Language Centre based in Kuala Lumpur- Malaysia, we plan to assist, and contribute to the betterment of refugee lives, by providing English Language Classes.
In line with our efforts, we had provided free classes to Refugee children in the month of July 2019, we had Malaysia Social Research Institute (MSRI) an NGO, assist us by providing a number of refugee children for these classes. These young adults were excited to learn and wanted to continue their course full time at our language centre, but the financial constraints did not allow them do so. That is what led us to start this fundraiser.
Our missions is to provide English language courses to refugees in Malaysia. Children and adults from Syria, Myanmar (rohingya), Yemen and Somalia are our priority.
20000 USD will educate 20 refugees for a period of three months. Classes will be held at our fully equipped centre and conducted by Native English Speaking Teachers.
English Language Skills will enable these refugees to improve their lives, secure employment and communicate with ease.
We will keep posting updates and pictures on this campaigns' update section.
