Engineering Student with an Old Laptop Needs Help

Hi, I'm an geomatics engineering student (diploma level). I'm currently using a laptop with an intel i3 and integrated graphics.

Judging by my laptop, you could make an educated guess that I'm not exactly from a rich family. BUT I've already saved enough money to buy some RAMs and additional storage. I only needed a better laptop since RAMs and storages can only do so much.

My parents have 3 children in college already (me included) and college isn't cheap.

I know that it's shameless to ask from strangers but I'm a full-time student (it's hard to get a job cuz of that) and my mother is only a high school teacher and my father is retired.

I really needed a new laptop since I'm making engineering plans and sometimes do remote sensing and satellite postioning related projects. Asking my parents would only make their burdens heavier than it already is.

I'm currently asking for kindness of strangers to help me get through diploma and hopefully get my degrees. So please, even $1 helps.
