Engagement Ring

Noelle and I met 4 years ago at Cannon Beach Christian Conference Center where she and I worked. She was shy and worked in food service and housekeeping and I worked in kids program with 4 and 5 yearolds. At the time, she and I were just friends. I asked her out to coffee once over that summer, but beyond that, I was given no indication that she was interested in me. We remained distant friends for the next four years and I moved on to finish up college. Then one day, we just started talking again. I had been perfectly content to remain friends with her, but when we reconnected, it became evident that my feelings for her had changed. I liked her, but didn't wish to offend our wonderful friendship. Her birthday was coming up, so in a matter of minutes, I ordered her flowers online and sent them to her in time for them to arrive on her birthday. I sent a letter with them explaining how she deserved to have someone send her flowers, and tried to keep it as lighthearted and friendly as possible. I got worried and asked her best friend if she thought it was a good idea, but when her best friend told me it was probably a bad idea, it was too late. The flowers were on their way. They would arrive in the afternoon just in time for her entire extended family to be at her house. This was going to be a very big entrance into her life and I was unprepared for the possible response this would cause. I ended up telling her about the incoming flowers and then did my best to cancel them so she wouldn't be embarrassed needlessly. After they were canceled, she told me she secretly was alright if they had come. That night, I got back online and bought her flowers and ordered them to be delivered the very next day. It ended up being perfect, because that was a particularly difficult day for her. One thing followed another, and that New Years, I went up to visit her and her family, I spoke to her dad and asked his permission to date her, was given the okay, and then asked her and we have since then been together for 6 months. I applied at the beginning of the school year to lead a trip that required I raise $3,000. My donations for my trip came up short and I had to pay $800+ that I had hoped to put towards an engagement ring for this summer. I decided if it was God's will for me to propose this summer, He would provide a way. I am simply asking for your help to make this dream come true. Anything helps. Thank you for your time.
