Through my own journey of fighting Social Injustice in the South African Court system, I started what has now become a movement, Child Maintenance Difficulties in South Africa. This is a group that I started on Face Book three years ago out of shear frustration with the Judicial system in South Africa. I used to dream of opening a center where women could get all the support and help needed to get through what is a nightmare, today it is so much bigger than what I ever imagined, there are over 14 000 people on the group and with the assistance of 5 admin who are highly qualified in Family Law we help people at no charge because most are women who are already battling financially with little or no help from the Justice Department who are failing vulnerable woman and children who's rights are enshrined in our constitution, but being let down by the very organ of state that is meant to uphold these rights. I have recently completed a Family Law and Mediation course to add more value to the movement.

I spend at least three to four hours a day helping people on the group. I have now committed my life to social change, committed to educating people about their rights and how to go about enforcing their rights and bringing about change to the way the Justice Department does what it is bound by the Constitution to do. I am committed to helping women get their dignity back by creating employment for unskilled, unemployed women who can work from home. My first project is a range of cushions I have designed which are aimed at the high end market which will be sold on line, I will teach them how to do the hand stitching and they will get paid per piece. This they will do at home so they can be with their families and not spend unnecessary money on transport and be vulnerable to crime whilst commuting.

There are over 5 million children being brought up in single headed households and a large percentage are unemployed, and who carry the burden of raising a family on their own often just living on grants which is not enough to feed themselves never mind any other expenses. I made a promise when I stood in front of the Deputy Judge President of the Gauteng High Court in 2010 that lack of money would not stop me from fighting injustice, it has become so much more. As a woman who has found her voice I need to keep speaking for the voiceless, as a woman who nearly gave up on life, I know the despair and will encourage others not to either. I have lodged a complaint with the Human Rights Commission for the violation of Human Rights by the Department of Justice who are the very people who are meant to uphold the Bill of Rights in our Constitution.

We are in the process of setting up a NPO that will be our vehicle to lobby for change, to have educational workshops to make women aware of their rights, workshops that will inspire them to become all that they dream to become, workshops to offer a safe place to heal emotionally, link up with other NPO's to help those that are in abusive relationships. I can no longer ignore what I am being called to do and in order to do this I need some financial help to build up stock and get the on line store running and sales coming in so that I can make a change in women and children's lives, so that they don't go to bed and to school hungry, if this speaks to your heart please contribute to making a difference, thank you in advance.
