SUPPORTING COMMUNITIES’ LIVELIHOODS FOR SUSTAINABILITY IN KISUMU,KENYA

This campaign is geared towards empowering vulnerable communities for sustainable development through empowering them on climate smart agriculture to increase food security and household livelihoods, access to clean water,sanitation and hygiene to improve the health of the children and community members. Natural resource regeneration and a forestation to improve the national forest cover for sustainable environmental protection and conservation. As well as advocate for gender equality and equity for all men and women with focus on the behavior change on community traditional beliefs,perception and stereotypes on gender responsibilities by promoting equal opportunities for all in all aspects of community development ad plans(education, distribution of resources, ownership of properties,decision making etc) for sustainable community development thus reducing their vulnerability to both natural and human made hazards caused by climate change ad other technological dysfunctions/failures.

Through this funds organization for Nature conservation will be able to support and contribute to empowering communities for sustainability and achieve the global Sustainable development Goals (SDGs) NO.1: End poverty in all its aspect everywhere; SDG NO;2 End hunger,achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture; SDG NO.3 Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages;SDG NO. 4. Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all; SDG NO. 5 Achieve gender equality ad empower all women and girls; SDG NO.6 Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all; SDG NO. 13 Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts; and SDG NO15 To protect,restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forest and other areas adressed by the Sustainable Development Goals.
