Campaign Story
After the n-z comments from a racist business man ,I thought I'd let you know that is what I've been experiencing,it sucks ,I've email over 250 businesses in the Nelson area ,and told no ,we can't help people like you ,MY CHALLENGE IF YOU CAN PULL BEER OUT OF SHOP to make a statement why can't you give ? I have had one business that has given locally,I am desperately trying to raise funds for an emotional support pup,in New Zealand there is a real confusion than overseas dogs for the terms support dog, emotional support dog, disability dog, guide dog etc .
I have many health conditions,PTSD from abuse physical and mental,CRPS, fibromyalgia, diabetes,my main problem is my panic attacks so I have not gone out and about much .
In NZ there are so many rescue dogs, but I'm wanting a small dog to take everywhere with me,I also don't meet the criteria as I live in a large caravan for adopting, I really want to get a wee chihuahua and they are not cheap ,but also with fund raising I can also get pet insurance and put money down at the vets for all puppy expenses.
I do meet the requirements for a thearpy dog ,but they are $75,000 and are bigger digs ,do I'm only trying to be fair for caravan living .
I have no kids at home ( all grown up),and I am fully fenced ,my husband lives with a head injury so we look after each other ,so I'm at home ,and pup will have all his/her needs meet.
I use to have a wee dog ,and never realized just how much it helped my anxiety and depression .my grief is still deep after they passed away ,but it's been nearly two years,
