Emma’s Volunteer Trip

For three weeks I am volunteering abroad- joining a Marine Conservation project’s efforts to protect the Great Barrier Reef ecosystem.

This is something i’ve always dreamed of doing, and i’m thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in a study abroad program with a purpose that I stand so strongly behind. The marine life and marine ecosystem are two things I care deeply about and hope to take part of their caring in my future.

Through Volunteer Abroad not only would I get to live out a dream of mine, but I would get to help save the world's largest coral reef system, work on sea turtle rehabilitation, and learn all about the new environment I'd be living in.

Unfortunately, due to the philanthropic nature of this program, a wide range of fees are necessary to cover the costs of the non-for profit program, including island transfers, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 in-country support. Any amount of donation would go a long way in my pursuit to accomplish this goal- Thank you!!
