Emily volunteers in Cambodia

Hello! I am an undergrad at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver Canada studying violin performance and visual art. In addition to music, I have always loved working with kids as well as travelling. This EDventure trip is the perfect oppertunity to help others while getting experience teaching kids and exploring a new country. I will be with a group of 8-12 other students from around the world for 3 weeks in Cambodia. For the first 2 weeks we will be helping Cambodian children learn english in a school that the EDventure program built, and for the last week we get to explore as much of Cambodia as possible! I have heard amazing things about Cambodia and the nature of the people there, they are said to be extremely welcoming, friendly and ready to learn everything they can! I believe this trip will be an eyeopening learning experience for me and I hope to build long lasting connections with my fellow EDventure travellers and the people of Cambodia. The trip will be May-June, and I will need $4800 to pay for the trip and the flight. Any amount of donation is greatly appriciated! Thank You!
