Campaign Story
We are going to Sri Lanka for a month at the end of July 2016. Whilst we are out there we will be volunteering with Animals, children and the local community and we would love for people to donate to help us pay for the trip.
Sri Lanka has had it tough in the recent years. Conflict in the north east of the island between the Sri Lankan army and Tamil Tigers has had an unsettling effect. In addition, the tsunami in 2004 took the lives of around 35000 and destroyed large parts of the costal region. Yet despite all the hardship faced, the Sri Lankan people remain upbeat and continue smiling. PMGY supports protects all around Sri Lanka. We will be living in an authentic Sri Lankan community learning about the life in Sri Lanka and living as they do. We will be making a positive impact during our time spent there.
The donations given will be used to help us fund our trip so we can make a difference to the people of Sri Lanka.
