I have recently been given the amazing opportunity to fulfil a longstanding dream to emigrate. I am a qualified mental health nurse who battled through college and university as a single parent of two small children to enable me to do a job that I am passionate about but also to provide for my children. We have been faced with many challenges with my son being very unwell and myself being subjected to domestic abuse before finally meeting my now husband who has taken on my children as his own and worked tirelessly to provide for them. We have had to overcome the challenges of having a biological child of our own. After being advised that this would not happen we decided that I would have surgery to try and allow us to expand our family. After much heartache this dream came true recently. We both work 50+ hours per week in a bid to enable us to move on from living in an area that holds some bad and sad memories for us both. Despite our efforts the unavoidable debt that I accumulated from being at university and trying to pay bills and provide for my children are making saving for this goal an impossible task and in the process our lives have become such that we do not spend any time as a family. Iwould be eternally greatful to anyone who can support us is making this dream of a fresh start and fantastic opportunities for our children a reality.
