Emergency Surgery To Save Danzig

Helping Danzig with Emergency Surgery.

Our amazing Hospice Danzig boy has under-gone Emergency surgery and we need your help! We were unable to start fundraising and promoting our sweet boy as this came on sudden, unknown and is an emergency.

Mr Danzig's hospice mom noticed mid-morning that Mr Danzig vomited some of his morning breakfast. Danzig is always under watch due to being long-term care for cancer treatment and has been doing well sense tumor removal in December.. Until now. She waited and monitored him to see if it was just an upset stomach or if it may turn into something we needed to contact his Veterinarian for. Within the hour, he vomited a second time and as she walked him outside he had liquid bloody diarrhea. He was tanking, fast and it quickly became loading him in the car and calling emergency.

Danzig went from his normal bouncy self, ate breakfast to within two hours he was tanking.. rapidly. For unknown reasons.

There is no single answer with testing on the cause. It could be a foreign body, even though medical dogs are constantly monitored and Danzig is a perfect gentlemen you never want to say "They would never eat something they shouldn't." They are pups, and anything could always be possible. Could it be a mass that we cannot see thats pushing intestines? Could it be a partial blockage due to his GI having a major flare and possibly some food didn't digest all the way and is making a partial block? We just do not know, but surgery is needed to find out immediately before this already low-immunity boy get's worse.

Mr Danzig is undergoing emergency surgery, Radiographs have been preformed in the attempt to rule-out or confirm but sadly there's no clear yes or no on pictures. We have to go in. His emergency surgery estimate includes pre-surgery, surgery and post surgical care.

We need your help now, to get Danzig through this. Danny boy lives to be Secret Santa to the children and families during Christmas. This boy LOVES helping put smiles on the communities face.. Please help us make sure he can continue doing that this Christmas!
