EMERGENCY SUPPORT DURING COVID 19 PANDEMIC

Due to the ongoing lockdown from March 2020, a large number of people especially the daily wage earners are facing acute financial crisis.

In rural Bengal, where I live, people are receiving support for bare minimum necessities from the public distribution system. But it is not adequate. People require grocery items, food and medicines in their daily lives. Most people diagnosed with cancer, renal failure, diabetes and other serious ailments receive little or no treatment from government hospitals these days. Government hospitals are either closed or catering to covid 19 patients only. The private hospitals are too expensive.

People are suffering from acute financial crisis, unable to maintain the basic needs of health or food.

In such a situation,a little help from all of us can make a big difference in the lives of rural people. Your donations would be used to purchase grocery and edible items along with medicines for rural population in West Bengal.
