Emergency Move!!

Hi everyone! My name is Rich. I'm a divorced dad and I have a wonderful son who's just started high school. We've lived in the same apartment since he was born (almost 16 years) and he's doing really well in school. Many of you may know that we enjoy living where we live. But, the owner of our apartment complex wants to remodel all the units and raise the rent by hundreds of dollars. They've given us just 60 days to get out. I lost my job last summer (downsizing), but I'm still looking for work. I'm on medication for high blood pressure so this situation is not going to help. But, still I have to trust that all will work out in the end. We're looking at other rentals, but don't have the money for a deposit, moving truck, etc. I don't really know what to do and I'm scared we'll be on the streets. I asked the manager if we could have more time as we've been good tenants and they said that our good record was "irrelevant." So, I don't have a choice but to ask for some help. When we get through this situation, I want to be able to help other people in the same situation. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you and God bless.
