Emergency Medical Care for Beagle

It was an accident, could have happened to anyone. But is wasn't just anyone, it was Christy Bell, our friend, fellow rescuer, and volunteer at the animal shelter in Lancaster SC. Pee Wee, Christy's three year-old Beagle, was hit by a car Saturday night. A witness to this traumatic event saw a SUV speeding down the road, heard Pee Wee get hit (there were no street lights), and watched as the vehicle continued on without slowing down. Based on where the vehicle was, and Pee Wee's injuries, he/she/they MUST HAVE SEEN HER in the road, and certainly would have known they hit her.
