Campaign Story
On the 12th January, I got the devastating news that my childhood neighbourhood in Malawi, Zomba has been flooded. The floods have caused many to lose their houses, businesses and personal properties. The rain continues to fall and more than 7,000 people are homeless and six are reported dead. As a result, people are seeking shelter in church and school buildings which is causing major health risks. I grew up in this town and I feel obliged to support the community as much as I can. Please sponsor me as I plan to spend one night on the street to highlight their plight (20/02/2015). The funds that I raise will enable me to buy food, clothing and water purifying tablets to help the victims. Our act of kindness will mean so much to an individual as well as a family.
