Emergency Help for Earthquake Victims in Herat, Afghanistan

My beloved homeland, Herat, Afghanistan, has been ravaged by a devastating series of earthquakes. The toll has been catastrophic, with over 2,000 lives tragically lost, thousands injured, and entire villages wiped away. The destruction is unimaginable, and the pain and suffering of my people are unbearable.

As a PhD student studying here in Hong Kong, I am thousands of miles away from my home, but my heart aches for my family, relatives, and community who are now living on the streets with no shelter, not even a tent to protect them. The situation is dire, and they are in desperate need of urgent support.
