Emergency funds for Zainul Nung following earthquake in Lombok/Gili T

My good friend Matt spent a lot of time living in Lombok and Gili Trawangan, and has been upset to hear the plight of his friend Zainul following last weekends earthquake there. 3 of Zainuls neighbours lost their lives in the quake, and his house has lost the roof and the walls have caved in. Aid and food has been slow to get to them and he also no longer has a job due to the destruction caused.

We were wondering how we could help and I figured we would get his story out there and see if any of the awesome people we know would contribute towards an emergency fund for Zainul. I know we can make a difference for him and really think this is what the Internet was made to do.

If you can donate anything, please do. Even just $5 or $10 will be significant and can help towards the goal.

All funds will be transferred to Zainul by Western Union transfer. If you can make donations by PayPal that would be the best option as bank transfers on his site take 7 days to clear, where PayPal is instant. We would like to get money to him this week if possible. Anything over our target will also go to Zainul to help rebuild his house and if possible, his community. A full record of all transfers will be kept and posted.
