Emergency aid to the Peruvian Amazon

Located in the heart of the Amazon rainforest, lives an inspiring community dedicated to protecting endangered species from extinction.The team at the Tarikaya Ecological Reserve and the Kawsay Biological Station do need financial assistance.With no tourism revenue during the pandemic, the lack of funds poses a serious threat to their survival -- and to make matters worse, they are currently experiencing the worst flooding in their history.

While most members of the team have been moved to safety, the animals at the rescue centre are in serious danger and a mass evacuation is under way.It's too late for some animals, but with the help of donations, the team still has hope of saving the remaining residents -- from monkeys, macaws and bears to big cats.
