We are raising funds for the purpose of starting eMBer Women's Theatre- a theater company in Columbus, Ohio which will focus on plays that showcase the female experience. eMBer Women's Theatre is theatre by women, about women, and for everyone. We are the only women's theatre in Columbus, and we hope to be able to bring quality women centered shows to the Columbus audiences. We have a goal to produce at least one show annually.
The funds raised during this campaign will help us officially form as a theater as well as launch our inaugural show: Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling. Putting up a show requires paying royalties, theater space rental, scripts, set costs, costumes, make up, a massive amount of props, and talent payment for the cast and crew, and much more. We need your help to make this happen...FAN THE FLAMES!
