Starting with January 24, 2022, our mission will be to offer free accommodation to cancer patients coming to Bucharest for cancer treatment.
This EMAUS mission started on December 1, 2020 in Cluj-Napoca, now we want it to take place in Bucharest as well.
EMAUS has 13 homes available for cancer patients.
EMAUS has housed over 123 sick people.
EMAUS has more than 220 accommodations.
EMAUS offered almost 3000 days of free accommodation.
We are increasingly aware that finding a serious, unwanted diagnosis and going through a period of suffering, despair and inner turmoil is a real challenge for anyone.
In addition, sometimes the cost of accommodation for oncological treatment performed in Bucharest can be a real financial challenge for someone with a modest situation.
Therefore, through the EMAUS project, we want at least the care for a necessary shelter during the treatment to no longer exist in the minds of those who suffer.
