Campaign Story
My best friend Dolly is a lecturer and facilitator who has helped hundreds of people with their problems and businesses. Now she needs our help.
Yesterday, they shut off the electricity and water with a bill amounting to P70,000.00. If not for her erratic income and her being the sole bread winner of her household she would’ve paid the bill herself but she’s living with a drunk and unemployed husband who never takes the responsibilities of marriage and fatherhood seriously. His solution to his financial struggle is to stop their kids from going to school, their home is in disarray with clogged toilets and sinks, he spends most of his time away from their home living a bachelor’s life. When he is home he imposes his dysfunctional ideas of fatherhood on her and their four children (including a five year old and a child with special needs).
It’s time they moved out but the circumstances haven’t given them the opportunity to save. Moving out is not an easy feat. They’ll need our help in getting their new home ready. Let’s work together to get Dolly and her kids out of suffering through years of mental and emotional abuse by helping them start anew.
And since Dolly loves to cook I’m sure she’d be more than happy to fix you a nice warm bowl of pasta once she’s settled.
