Elliott J. Shaw (12) has just been selected to represent Switzerland for the 2015 CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy, which is a fantastic challenge and a great opportunity to showcase his driving skills.
Elliott is only in his 3rd year of karting and, in 2015, will compete in his first national championship in the KF3 category. As the Karting Academy Trophy comes in addition to the Swiss Championship (and since all serious training has to be done abroad), we need to raise funds to cover the subsequent extra costs.
This fund will help prepare Elliott to this competition and cover the following costs:
- Training on similar tracks in Italy and France,
- Competition fees,
- Mechanic salary,
- Travelling to Spain, Belgium and France,
- Accomodation costs.
The three Competitions of the 2015 calendar will take place alongside the CIK-FIA European and World Championships for KZ and will enjoy the ambiance of the prestigious meetings alongside the world's greatest drivers.
The first Competition will take place from 21st to 24th May 2015 at Zuera (ESP), including a training day. The second Competition will take place at Genk (BEL) from 10th to 12th July and the last on September 11th to 13th at Le Mans (FRA).
Any help you can offer is very much appreciated. Thank you!
