Elliott Joe Park

On February 27th, 2017 Candace Park was admitted to Boon Hospital . She was 31 weeks pregnant and her water broke . They admitted her to the hospital for bed rest and to try to keep the baby from coming so it would have more time to mature his organs. The hospital wanted her to wait until at least 34 weeks before having the baby to come. The baby need so badly to develope his lungs. So the injected steriods and antibotic into her for the baby, Her husband Dan Park stayed everyday with her. Worried that the baby would go into distress and the baby would be born by C-Section. He had miss work and used alot of travel expense since the hospital both ways was about 125 mile or so. On March 13th, 2017 the baby head was down and there was signs that it was time for the baby to come. At 2:50 p.m March 13th, 2017 she gave birth to a 4lb 9oz baby boy, Elliott Joe Park. This was such a blessing of having a newborn baby boy. Their prayers was answered and so many was praying for them as well as a prayer circle. Their last baby girl Tenley Jo born Aug 2011 came full term but died due to the umbical cord around her throat. They lost that baby girl. It was so hard and such a big loss. This Baby boy is truely such a blessing to them. Candace has been discharged from the hospital but our little premature Elliott Joe Park has to stay in the intensive care unit at Boon Hospital, Columbia, Missouri for two or three weeks that is until he is stable and he gets enough body weight to be release. This is so hard to leave their child behind. They again live many miles away so mom will stay in Columbia to be able to travel to the hospital to feed the baby all day. Then dad will drive back and forth to try to make it to work and come back to the hospital by driving about 125 miles just so he get to spend some time with the baby. These kids have so much love and being blessed with this bundle of joy that they will do anything for him even if they struggle with the expenses.
This family is truely not one to ask others for help or money, however I see them struggling with the expenses of medical, travel expense, food expense and over night stay expense.
