Raising Funds for Ellie’s Surgery. Barely survived 8 floor fall.

Update posted by Adam Bauer On Nov 25, 2016

Ellie has finally returned home! She is recovering very well and can walk around. We have to keep her confined in a room so she wont jump around too much. Even though we have successfully trained her to use the toilet, for now she has to go back to a litter box for the next few weeks. Due to her jaw, we still have to feed her via a tube through her neck every 6 hours.

Other than that, she is back home and happy again. We wish to thank each and every one of you that not only contributed to our cause, but giving us your kind words and thoughts and all those prayers for her recovery.

We would be very happy to invite you to our humble home and pay a visit to Ellie. She would be happy to see her friends and so would we. Even though her medical bills are taking a huge toll on us financially, its more than worth it being able to have her back home safe and in good health!

Thank you!

Ellie has shown tremendous improvement in her overall condition and we have been told that she is ready to be discharged and may return home.

We have been raising funds in every possible way, and with the generosity of everyone, have come close to being able to discharge her. The vet has advised us to try and get a DBS or UOB credit card and they can arrange an interest free installment plan over a 12 or 24 month period.

We are appealing to family and friends that own any of these 2 mentioned cards if you would be willing to help out. The amount they require for discharge is below $3000 which we can pay through installments if we can get someone to help out with a card.

Do contact us through mobile, whatsapp, or facebook if you are able to help in any way at all. Thank you!

The 7 hour surgery was a success! Ellie has a steel plate in her arm and her jaw has been wired.

She is recovering well. Still requires pain relief but she does recognize us and purrs loudly when we stroke her. She licks my wifes hand as she usually does when greeting her, though it seems to hurt while she does so.

She still requires to be fed via a tube through her neck, due to her jaw, but she is recovering well!

We have been told that Ellie can be discharged and brought home, provided we complete payment of the medical fees incurred. So for now she has to remain in their care until we can raise the amount.

The response has been so good we feel very blessed to receive contributions and well wishes from each and every one of you. For that we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Hopefully, Ellie will be back home where she belongs soon.
