Ellie’s Light

Ellie has autism, mild cerebral palsy, apraxia, and a cyst in her brain. My goal is to make homemade candles to help provide Miss Ellie with a "go to" calming activity. She's incredibly intelligent and the happiest, most loving kid you'll ever meet. The plan is to sell these homemade candles and donate a percentage of sales to autism research and Children's Hospital of Atlanta, where she had the best therapy that taught her how to make eye contact, learn sign language as a door to becoming verbal, and learned that she had the power to become independent. I started making candles as a hobby quite a few years ago, I'm hoping to earn enough to get the materials needed to start making candles and provide Ellie with something of her own, that her siblings aren't involved in. That way she can have this one thing that is solely "hers"!
