Ellie McHale Photography – The Real Deal

While I am so very grateful everyone supports my persuit of becoming a legitimate photographer, being a photographer isn't, in fact, an easy thing to do these days. Software is key. A decent, well-functioning computer is needed to run said software. Memory cards aren't cheap & they are the usual storage space of initial shots. High quality printers, ink, paper, etc. are definitely not cheap. A website hosted by a reputable company does actually cost money. Cameras, like computers, need to be cared for. And, practice makes perfect. I can't blossom without software (or lightboxes, flashes, lenses, bulbs, general all purpose photo gear, etc.), as I don't have those at my disposal to practice with. On my tight retail wages, it is hard for me to purchase high quality equiptment.

So, dear friends & family, I am reaching out to you. A dollar will do. Ten is amazing... Anything you can spare to help this lady out. Also, if you have photography equiptment you are no longer using and need a place to send it, let me know. I'll take anything off your hands. Sure, you cannot donate time. But, a dollar or a few will help me move in the right direction. And, who knows. If ever I produce a coffee table book of work or have a show, anyone who donates at least one dollar will get a thank you shout out. Yes, there will be a special section in the book for donors. There will be a poster of everyone who donates anything mixed in with prints displayed at the show.
