Elimuel’s chemotherapy and radiotherapy

Hi everyone! My name is Suhito. I'm a multimedia freelancer . I am organizing this to raise funds for my 13-year-old cousin, Elemuel Jordan, from my home town, Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. In 2015, he was diagnosed with a malignant tumor (Pineal Germinoma) in his brain. He's been in and out of the hospital since then and recently, he was rushed to the hospital in Cabanatuan City due to extreme pain in his head. The doctor treating him concluded that his brain is swelling causing his vision to fail and causing the pain in his head. His doctor said that if he's not given immediate medical attention, he might be paralyzed, or worse, he may die. The money I am attempting to raise will be directly used for treatment, medications, chemotherapy and other hospitalization expenses.

He'll undergo at least three cycles of chemotherapy which started 4 days ago and radiotherapy soon after. Chemotherapy, hospital bill and other medication bill costs almost Php90,000 or $1,875 per cycle. His mother is a school teacher in Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija, Philippines and the chemo alone would be less than the equivalent of an entire month's salary for her. Insurance is unreliable and not a viable option for Elemuel's family.

I know that God is mindful to each one of us. He is always giving us the opportunity to serve others and allows us to work as His hands. Any amount that you can share with him would mean a lot to him and to his family. I have witnessed how this very young man grew up. He is a happy person. He laughs a lot, loves his family so much and cares for them. He's been taught to be a Christ-centered individual. Even though he is having a hard time studying because his vision started to fade, he still chooses to go to school and participate. He dreams to become a teacher someday like his mom because he values education so much. Please, let us help him get back to normal and continue to experience the beauty and goodness of life ahead of him. Thank you so much for your help and understanding.
