Elikplim needs support to fund his tertiary education.

Hello everyone,

My name is Elikplim Gada, an 18 year old Ghanaian, and a second year geological engineering student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

I am the second of four children being raised by my mother who is a single parent. My mother, Paulina Diaba, is a hardworking woman who spares no effort to keep food on the table; she had been taking care of us singled handedly ever since our father, Gabriel Gada passed on. She worked as a house help and fed us with the little she received. However, bearing the full cost of our education is a burden and she is no longer working due to her illness.

During this vacation I worked as a pupil's teacher to raise funds to pay my fees but due to the limited time and no other means of financial assistance, I have not been able to raise enough funds so I have resorted to this campaign as my only hope.

I encounter several challenges as I am schooling; my feeding, accommodation and transportation every day. Because my mom is endeavoring through these hard times, I try my best to keep my grades up, knowing that I have opportunities that my mother never had and I am fully motivated to reach my career goal of being a geological engineer.
