ELIANA’s Fearless Fight against Choledochal Cyst

My daughter Eliana Dashielle R. Minerales is a 9 month old jolly, healthy and a happy baby not until diagnosed with a Choledochal Cyst (Type IV) last November 21, 2019.

Her pediatrician referred my baby to visit Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC) in Quezon City for better management and treatment of her disease.

Last November 23, 2019 we traveled from Nueva Vizcaya to PCMC here in Quezon City and look for a specialist for her case.

It was Dr. Leandro Resurreccion, pediatric surgeon in PCMC whom we consulted and verified that it is a Choledochal cyst type IV . Eliana was admitted in PCMC on November 27,2019 and was scheduled for a surgery November 29, 2019.

Yesterday, November 29, 2019, Eliana went through Choledochal cyst removal operation. Currently, she is still admitted and recovering at PCMC.

The estimated costs of the surgery is Php 230,000.00 (Surgeon’s and anesthesiologist’s Fees and OR room charges only), thus Pediatrician’s fees, room charges and Ward medication costs are not yet included.

We cannot pay it instantly, and our funds are limited. With this matter, we humbly ask for help in any amount you can give or donate for my daughter’s medications and healing.
