What is Happy cats?? It’s a beautiful dream, a special place, a new concept, in which people and pets work together.

Why cats? Because of their recognized therapeutic qualities, and because the cat has become a kind of loveliness norm, in both the real and virtual world.

Catherapy - therapy by playing - learning by playing (a team of psychologists, human and animal doctors, teachers,who, together with the gentle and specially trained shelter cats, in a friendly, warm, colorful and open environment, offer help and support for children: kids of every age, with or without special needs, learn to communicate, to help, to discover, to create, to accept themselves, to share, to love and to trust, coordinated by people alongside cats).

Happy cats - relaxation oasis for kids and adults.

A magical place, where we enter leaving daily stress behind, leaving worries and judgements aside, and we rediscover joy through play, we relax and recharge our batteries, a kind of reinvented “cat cafe”, more than just a relaxation outlet: a transcending place, a place where we learn from each other, help each other, work together, learn to be better, to give.

Happy cats - shelter for rescued cats, who become rescuers.

A place imagined and built by rescuers. Shelter for those forgotten animals, thrown away, scared, who have no-one, who roam the streets -saved from death and “upgraded” by our team, who learn again to trust humans, treated with kindness and gentleness, and who stayed to live and play along with us. We save, spay and neuter, nurture, facilitate and promote adoptions, some of the cats will go to those that need them, based on an adoption contract, but some of the animals become useful and indispensable for the shelter, and they remain here, in a warm and welcoming environment, for the rest of their lives.

Summary? Shelter for therapy, learning, recreation, for people and cats alike.

A wonderful place, where we accept one another, come to help and be helped. Giving.
