Elena and Enrique

I met Elena three years ago, when I went to visit my family in Cuba. Since then, we felt in love and I made it my mission to get Elena out of Cuba into freedom, so we could have a life together like everyone else. Elena is Cuban, 35 years old, residing in Mexico, unable to return to Cuba and inadmissible to enter the United States of America because the change of laws towards Cubans. She try many times to apply for a permit to stay in Mexico, and she was denied. All she has is a tourist visa for 180 days, which it will expire December 15, 2018. She will be illegal then, and things will be more difficult for us to be together and get marry, not to mention that she will be stateless. I am Enrique, 48 years old, Cuban American, born and raised in Miami, Florida, and Elena´s fiancé. I spend all my savings in supporting Elena in this quest to freedom, and that is why I need your support today, so we can get marry in Mexico and finally be able to get to the southern border of the United States and Mexico, where she will not be deny admission to enter the United States, because she will be married to an American citizen. Once inside the States, we will travel to Miami, where we will start a new life together, forever. A life of freedom. Freedom that everyone deserves. Conocí a Elena hace tres años, cuando fui a visitar a mi familia en Cuba. Desde entonces, nos enamoramos y mi misión se convirtió en sacar a Elena de Cuba hacia la libertad, para que pudiéramos tener una vida juntos como todos los demás. Elena es cubana, tiene 35 años, reside en México, no puede regresar a Cuba y es inadmisible para ingresar a los Estados Unidos de América debido al cambio de leyes contra los cubanos. Elena intentó muchas veces solicitar un permiso para quedarse en México, y se le negó. Todo lo que tiene es una visa de turista por 180 días, que vencerá el 15 de diciembre de 2018. Será ilegal entonces, y será más difícil para nosotros estar juntos y casarnos, sin mencionar que será apátrida. Soy Enrique, de 48 años, cubanoamericano, nacido y criado en Miami, Florida, y prometido de Elena. Gasté todos mis ahorros en apoyar a Elena en esta búsqueda de la libertad, y es por eso que necesito su apoyo hoy, para que podamos casarnos en México y finalmente poder llegar a la frontera sur de los Estados Unidos y México, en donde a ella no se le negará la admisión para ingresar a los Estados Unidos, ya que estará casada conmigo un ciudadano estadounidense. Una vez dentro de los Estados Unidos, viajaremos a Miami, donde comenzaremos una nueva vida juntos para siempre. Una vida de libertad. Libertad que todos merecen.
