Help start off an Elementary school in the Philippines

Family Montessori Preschool of Loyola is a non-stock, non-profit learning institution. It has been a preschool of good standing in the Philippines since 2003. It has since been a school catering to children 3-6 years of age and adheres to the time-tested Montessori pedagogy. It is headed by a Montessori-trained directress who has earned her diploma from the Association Montessori Internationale. (AMI) It offers partial and full scholarship to children who are financially in need.

The school now has a trained Montessori guide on board to extend the same brand of service to the elementary child in the classic Montessori tradition (children 6-12 years of age) with an inclusive program for children with Special Needs and soon thereafter, to also offer a Christian formation program in the tradition of the Montessori Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. But it needs funds to set up an equally beautiful and stimulating Montessori learning environment for children at this age level.

It needs funds primarily to purchase Montessori didactic materials to apply the approach and set up a starter classroom / environment for 6-9 year old children with the goal of completing at least one classroom / environment by August 2020 for a soft opening on June 2021. Approximate amount needed to set up a complete environment for a class for 6-9 year old children is around PHP2,500,000.00 (in Philippine peso) This includes costs for materials as well as modifications to existing physical set up.
