Campaign Story
In 2007, Elaine made a career shift from social entrepreneurship into the NGO industry. She was diagnosed with clinical depression in 2008 and had to undergo treatment, but she continued her career through teaching overseas in Indonesia, and finally founded Love Kuching Project with her now husband, Andy Koh in 2009.
Love Kuching is a community-based cat rescue group in Singapore that focuses on rescue of sick and injured stray cats, rehoming of kittens through adoptions, outreach in cat care education and sterilisation of stray cat colonies.
Elaine is currently admitted to hospital and as such we are raising funds to help with Elaine's ongoing medical fees. Every little bit you can offer really does help and you have our deepest appreciation and thanks for your donation.
This has been set up with permission from Elaine's husband, Andy. All funds will be transferred to him on the date of or before the end of the campaign.
*PLEASE NOTE* we can only accept the donations if you have a PayPal account, unfortunately we are unable to accept donations via credit card using PayPal. If you have any problems please sign in to your PayPal account rather than trying to use a credit card. Thank you so much.

Update posted by Joanna Cockle at 11:30 pmIn just 12 hours we have smashed our target! As Elaine's medical fees are ongoing and will undoubtedly be much higher, I have raised the target to $5,000. I'm confident we can achieve this and more. Thank you so much for you contributions, and keep spreading the word!
