EDventure volunteer teaching

Hi everyone, I am a fourth year education student studying in Australia and have always wanted to help make a difference in a county less fortunate than ours. I was lucky enough to get accepted into EDventure Internationals Volunteer program and will be heading over to Cambodia in July to follow this dream. EDventure is a volunteer organisation which offers participants amazing leadership experiences, whilst engaging in in meaningful volunteer projects in the developing world.  During my program, I will spend 3 weeks engaging in leadership development workshops with other volunteers, while applying these skills directly to efforts in rural schools in Cambodia.

I am reaching out to you for much needed support for a portion of my program costs. I would also love some help to be able to buy resources for the schools to help children get the best start in life that they deserve. I will be directly involved in creating positive change and providing direct support within Siem Reap. While working in classrooms, I will teach groups of children reading and writing skills, art, and organize sports and group activities. 

I am sure you can imagine being a full time uni student can be financially difficult therefore every bit counts, even if it is loose change. Thank-you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
