Edventure Intl. Community Building in South Africa

I've signed up for an amazing program with an organization called Edventure International. This program is going to take me to South Africa where I'll be learning, building and teaching in small rural communities near South Africa's big game parks. For a variety of reasons, there is little access to simple health care and education for many young children living in these rural communities. This is one of the things that we'll be doing during our three week project. We will also be learning about local socio-economic issues and engaging in community development efforts that involve education, infrastructure development and the assistance of the local economy. 

I'm going to bring a lot back from this experience, I'm hoping that through my experiences, I will devellop a greater understanding of how global communal change can be facilitated on a local level. I have a pretty steep goal 3500 for the trip and ~ 1500 for the ticket so it wont be easy but every bit counts and is greatly appreciated.
