Edventure International

I am very excited and have been blessed with the opportunity to travel and volunteer this summer in Siem Reap, Cambodia through the Edventure International Program!

During my time there I will be:

• preparing lesson plans with the local teachers
• teaching English in the local schools
• leading learning activities
• interacting with the children in the orphanages
• working on sanitation and health projects

Due to the history of warfare and poverty of these Cambodian villages, there is still a high rate of disease, illness, lack of clean water, food, and illiteracy. During my stay I will put my best efforts to educate and empower these local communities in any way I can. These villages are left with a high number of young orphans that not only struggle to meet the basic needs of survival, but struggle to get the proper education due to the cost of uniforms and school supplies. 

I would greatly appreciate any monetary doantion you are able to give. Or you can also help by donating clothes, uniforms, school supplies such as pencils, crayons, books, and notebooks that I will personally collect before my departure on June 26th.
