Educational classes for Ukrainian refugees

Hi, I am Dobrawa. I am raising funds for educational classes and other activities for Ukrainian kids who fled the brutal war and found shelter in Silesian Region, Poland. I take care of about 100 Ukrainian children from various refugee shelters within 30 km.

I volunteered to help refugees at the beginning of the war, March 2022. Since that time, we have been hosting and taking care of mothers with children, who fled the war with nothing, leaving their homes and loved ones, not knowing where they are going. We do our best to support them. We provide them with shelter, food, medical and psychical assistance every day. Hand to hand, we have been fighting with our brave neighbours for a year now.

Children have a lot of free time far away from home, far away from not only their families but also friends. They do not have equal opportunities with their peers who at the same time enjoy various types of extracurricular activities or entertainment in their safe countries. Many of them study online in Ukrainian schools, some of them have started education in Poland, which is also a challenge for our small friends.

I would like to provide children with the opportunity to develop and help them assimilate with the new environment. I would love to make valuable use of their time. I would like to organise extra classes to help them fight with sadness, loneliness and boredom.I am an English teacher and in addition to humanitarian aid, I would love to help them learn Polish, English, organize various art and creative language workshops, or even organize small educational trips. Children are children. They love to play, learn and explore.

I collect funds for renting and equipping a study room for children, purchase of books and additional materials.
