In the afternoons, I also conduct extracurricular activities in a community center for children.
These are free classes.
I would like to be able to conduct such classes also in orphanages.
Where children often do not have access to them and are thus disregarded.
As part of the workshops, children learn the Scratch program -an interpreted visual programming language. It was designed by Mitchel Resnick (including the originator of the Lego Mindstorms toy series and the creator of the StarLogo language),

Where languages like javascritp python are used for learning / fun.
Unfortunately, some of them are paid, and the free version does not allow you to fully develop your skills and use them in learning.
The cost of one account in codecombat per month is $ 3.99 or $ 39.60 per year.
Usually about 10 children attend classes.
So as you can see, it is not a small amount of money when it comes to the number of people.
Especially that children in orphanages do not have any money.
Apart from the basics of programming, I would like to introduce the basics of electronics to their learning.
On them, children would learn about electronic elements, arduino uno sets, soldering ATV boards.
The cost of one ATV kit is about $ 10.
However, soldering stations are needed. Where one costs about $ 42.
Multiplying this by the number of participants in the class (10 people), it gives us a considerable amount again.
In turn, one set of arduino uno to learn costs from $ 45.50, times 10 people?
Reading, summing up, in order to be able to start such workshops among children from orphanages, one needs a considerable amount of money.
The next classes that I conduct and I would like to start teaching in orphanages are Photon Robots.
I teach children the basics of programming. I use the educational version of the Photon robots for this.
I would like to be able to conduct such workshops in orphanages in the city.
However, the robots I work on are the property of the community center and I cannot use them for this purpose.

I am not able to finance it myself. To be able to start the workshop, I need a minimum of 3 robots.
Photon robots are a great learning and fun tool for children. They enjoy great interest.
Both among children and parents.
Children in orphanages do not have access to this type of activity. That's why I want to make it possible for them.
Another of our ideas for education and fun with children is the Era of the Dinosaurs.
We dream of having 2 of them
The cost of such a costume is over PLN 15,000 = 3896,10 $ by 1
Unfortunately.
The costumes we need are not cheap, as you see.
We want to organize an event for children from orphanages.
Theme: "Age of the Dinosaurs".
We want to start a series of workshops with the entire team and in cooperation with an archaeologist friend.
During the classes, volunteers in dinosaur costumes will entertain the children.
Initially, we already have an agreed date and place for the first class.
We made a deal (initially in words at the beginning) with a friend's orphanage where I worked as a carer.
The deadline is the end of June, right after the end of the school year.

If we do not get the funds by mid-May, we will have to cancel the event, :(
it will be very sad news for the children of the orphanage.
