100 Laptops for distance learning, give underprivileged Filipino students a fair shot!

OBJECTIVE: To provide 100 laptop units to selected Filipino students of PUP Manila and Kalayaan National High School

According to DepEd (Department of Education) distance learning will be the only mode of education in the Philippines while the pandemic is ongoing. One of the basic requirements for an effective implementation of distance learning is access to a tablet or computer.

A considerable number of students in public schools have insufficient funds to purchase their own internet device. This puts them at a disadvantage before classes even begin.

For those of us who have kids, siblings, nephews and nieces who are studying, we make a concerted effort to provide the necessities for online classes/distance learning. We will do anything and everything within our means (and beyond) to give them what they need for their education.

But what about the other Students? What about the kids whose families don't have as much? Who will be the one to provide for them and make sure that they do not miss out on their education?

Thankfully, they have YOU!

TARGET BENEFICIARY

Students from Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)

Kalayaan National High School Pasay City.

100% of the funds raised will be used for the devices. All other costs such incurred during the life of the project including logistics will be shouldered out of our own pocket.

We are in the process of finding a cheaper alternative.

The priority is to donate laptops because some students may not have space for a desktop computer.

In case we do not meet the set goal we can switch to a tablet or mixed devices

All of the receipts and documents for proof of donation will be presented

We will be providing updates regarding the fundraisers as it is still being organized

Any amount will do and will serve a great purpose
