Hello, my name is Donald Baguma and I am a 27 year old Ugandan living in South Africa. Just finished my undergraduate studies at the University of Cape Town and got admitted into the Masters program. My coursework and dissertation topic is Illiberalism in Jazz: An Exploration and Representationof the Queer in the Conservatively Machismo World of Jazz. This topic is supposed to enable us understand the world of jazz more clearly and its relationship with the queer community especially the queer jazz musicians.
